As a dog apparel company we, of course, take cookies very seriously. And rightfully so. Because what is more important than cookies? This is why we have a real cookie policy. In this policy we outline the importance of cookie selection, manufacturer selection and feeding frequency.
- What cookies are best for my furry friend?
- We always say: the only bad cookie is a cookie that wasn’t given. On a more serious note, try to go for natural cookies without any artificial ingredients. You’ll be surprised how much your dog will like some slices of cucumber or banana.
- How many cookies should I give to my dog?
- Of course, everything your dog does is awesome. But not everything that is awesome should be rewarded with cookies. As a general rule of thumb: as long as your dog doesn’t gain too much weight, you can feed your dog as much as you want. Just make sure they get enough exercise.
- Do you have a puppy? Please make sure your dog doesn’t grow too fast. Fast growing puppies or puppies that are overweight have a higher chance of hip and elbow dysplasia! Contact your breeder or vet for advice on how much your puppy is allowed to grow every week.
- Where should I buy my cookies?
- Controversial opinion incoming: we don’t like cookies from big brands. Now that’s out of the way: we love supporting small and local businesses. We feel that they put so much effort and passion in their product. And, most of the time they work with natural ingredients. You’ll find that your dog will like these natural cookies way better than the ones you buy in the supermarket. Very convenient when training your puppy! And very easy when you want to spoil your friend.
